Brief Portrait

Gerhard Jurasek graduated in engineering at the Graz University of Technology in 1983. In 2006, he also earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Graz and completed a doctorate at Graz University of Technology in 2021. Since 1995, he has been working as a trainer and consultant for SAP. He started his career at Plaut AG, became a freelancer afterwards, and is now managing partner at Sapphir GmbH Graz since 2004. At the University of Graz, Gerhard Jurasek is teaching the graduate class "IT-Supported Management Accounting". He published a number of articles on management accounting applications of SAP in "Der Controlling-Berater".
