Martin Sailer graduated in business administration and worked several years as research assistant at universities in Graz and St. Gallen, Switzerland. He then worked at the Daimler-Benz group focusing on corporate planning and controlling. Furthermore, he worked as CFO and management accountant at the Nissan Austria GmbH and as a group controller for an international industrial investment company. He also was financial director at Pharmacia Austria, a subsidiary of an international corporation for pharmaceuticals in the USA. He is currently an alternate member of the executive board of Frauenthal Holding AG. Martin Sailer is currently teaching the graduate accounting class "Controlling and Corporate Governance" from the SBWL track "Managerial Accounting" at the University of Graz.
