Research
Our research is internationally oriented and focuses on financial and management accounting topics. In the field of management accounting we focus on coordination, performance metrics, management ratios, incentive systems and value-oriented management. In financial accounting, questions about modeling and economic effects of information systems, earnings quality, concepts of international financial accounting and corporate governance are covered. The main methods used in research are based on information economics, agency models, game theory and empirical research.
