Studying

The combination of theory and practice defines the range of lectures offered by the Institute of Accounting and Control. Thus, in our lectures we focus on teaching both theoretical conceptions and instruments for applied management. We further promote collaborations between science and the public by supervising individual master theses in cooperation with interested companies. In addition to our emphasis on teaching management accounting to undergraduates and graduates, we offer excellent education for our PhD-students. This becomes apparent from our participation in the Doctoral Program in Accounting, Reporting, and Taxation (DART) supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). The Institute of Accounting and Control supervises and reviews about 20 master theses per year.
